Through the years, DZMM has been a good source of news, information and entertainment for many people - including my mom who is an avid DZMM listener, literally from dusk to dawn to dusk. That's why she should have been the one to be on this event.
Seeing the anchors and reporters on stage to do presentations is quite a surprise for me. Especially, hearing them on radio and seeing some of them before working in ABS-CBN (since I was there until 2007).
More so, I was hoping to see Mr. Peter Musngi, the voice of ABS-CBN - literally, to perform. However, I wasn't able to watch him perform in Araneta. It must be different compared to the videoke sessions I was with him during parties and get togethers.
Nevertheless, seeing radio personalities up on stage, dancing and singing, infront of thousands of audience was an entertainment. No wonder, DZMM avid listeners took the time, amidst the rain during that night, and watch their favorite radio personalities perform.
