DELI-ghtful Way to Start the Holidays

Chicken Deli, a local grilled-chicken restaurant, offered a delightful way of starting the holidays - with stars. Chicken Deli, which started 1983 in Bacolod, brought Kapamilya stars to entertain the crowd in Tutuban Mall, as they opened the Christmas season last November 30. Celebrities included Kiray, Rhap Salazar, Miguel Mendoza, Art Mendoza and 101.9 Tambayan's DJ Charlie. Kiray brought the house down when she did a song-dance number and invited some audience to dance along with her. Good thing that the participants were all out to have fun. So they did. After which, the participants had gift certificates from Chicken Deli, a treat they loved. NOTE: My review on Chicken Deli will be posted soon. (My media card broke on the part of the food shots. Sorry) But for starters, I like their kare-kare, really tasty and creamy. Details soon! The female crowd was 'awe-strucked' by Pinoy Dream Academy contender balladeer Miguel Mendoza. DJ Charlie and Kiray's antics made the night for the audiences. Their jokes and games gave the crowd all their time's worth for that holiday. While a performance from another world-class singer, Rhap Salazar gave the audience a night to remember. Chicken Deli is now moving its way to the north. With three branches in Metro Manila (Tutuban, SM North, Recto Ave.). Eyeing on the Manila crowd, the Bacolod-dish restaurant is making its way to the metropolitan crowd.
