SUMOptuous Meal in a Japanese Resto (Sumosam – Gilmore)

If you’re looking for a japanese resto offering full-size meal, you might want trying Sumosam.

I was able to try one of their new Yokuzuna Bentos treats in the Gilmore Branch – the Samurai’s Choice. And I say, I was full, very much full after eating the whole set.

It was a good thing to include sashimi already on this bento.

What I like about Samurai’s choice is the Beef Yakiniku. The meat are not like “left-over” shreds of meat.

Plus, their green tea is good. A good drink after your meal.

Did I mention that the “dilis” taste great – nice appetizer. ;-)

On a side note, the menu is quite heavy, fit for a sumo! hahaha! But kidding aside, I like the design of the menu.

Included in the Samurai’s Choice Bento are::

  • Tuna, Salmon and Kani Sashimi
  • Chicken Teriyaki
  • Beef Yakiniku with Yasai Itame
  • Dory teppan
  • Rice
  • Bean Sprout (Side dish)

I love Japanese food but I haven’t tried eating at SumoSam yet. The nearest branch from my place is the one in Trinoma which many people discouraged me of visiting. Slow and poor service daw at that branch. This one in Gilmore looks promising though since they even have their own bento selection :)
